Product Description

Introduction:

CTY series wet drum pre-separation permanent magnetic separator is designed for residue removal of magnetite ore before milling process. 

Working Principle:
In operation, the media or mineral slurry continuously feeds into the base tank of the Wet Magnetic Drum Separator. Strongly magnetic materials (e.g., magnetite, ferrosilicon or iron-ore) attract to the surface of the Wet Drum Magnetic Separator, where they are held and moved out of the non-magnetic slurry on the surface of the rotating non-magnetic shell. The captured magnetics are then deposited into a collection area, often with the assistance of flushing water to remove them from the surface of the shell. Non-magnetics flow out of the tank. There are three different models (i.e., designs of tank) to suit specific separation objectives and applications.

 

Features:

1. Even feeding.

2. Wear-resistant ceramic is lined inside and outside. 

3. The diameter of the feed particle can reach 16 mm.

4. The magnetic minerals in the tailing are reduced apparently, it can be reduced by 1-3% than the normal separation.

5.  Magnetic system angle is 138°, to increase the sorting processing, concentrate grade improved by 2-4%.

6. Keeping a certain height of the liquid level in the tank makes the recovery of the magnetic minerals easy.
