The rod mill is named after the grinding body loaded in the cylinder is a steel rod.Rod mills are generally of wet overflow type, which can be used as first-level open-circuit grinding, and are widely used in the first-level grinding industry in the power sector of artificial stone sand, mineral processing plants, and chemical plants.

 

Technical Features

1.The output of the rod mill is closely related to the way of feeding and discharging. To achieve the desired output, the forced feeding method must be adopted. This is quite different from the feeding method of the screw feeder for iron ore mills. Our rod mill The machine adopts forced feeding mode. Moreover, there is no discharge screw at the discharge end, which ensures that the material quickly passes through the rod mill.
2.The output of the rod mill is also related to the ratio of the grinding media rods. We have selected a scientific and reasonable ratio of the media rods according to the characteristics of the quartz sand to ensure the output of the mill.
3.The discharge port of the rod mill has been redesigned. For quartz sand materials, the size of the discharge port of the rod mill can be adjusted, which increases the effective grinding space and increases the output of the mill. Through the above methods, we can stabilize the output of the mill above 40T/h.
4.The use of bearing bushes or spherical roller bearings is convenient for maintenance, which greatly improves the normal start-up time of the mill and saves energy.
